About this piece
Essentials Martini Studs are lab-grown diamond stud earrings in a martini setting, in 14K or 18K gold, 1.00–3.00 ct per pair, IGI jewelry report included, dispatch in 25–32 business days (5–7 for the faster options). The martini setting is a tapered, cone-shaped basket that lets the diamond sit close to the earlobe instead of standing up on the post; the lower centre of gravity keeps larger stones from tipping forward, which is why the martini is the classic choice from 1 ct per pair upwards. Three prongs show more of the stone's outline, four hold it in a more symmetrical frame. Round lab-grown diamonds, F–G colour, VS clarity, Very Good cut. Weight per pair · each stone: 1.00 ct · 2 × 0.50 ct 1.50 ct · 2 × 0.75 ct 2.00 ct · 2 × 1.00 ct 2.50 ct · 2 × 1.25 ct 3.00 ct · 2 × 1.50 ct Curated by Kove, checked in Prague before dispatch. A pair for someone who wants a larger stone worn close to the ear — a milestone gift, or the step up from smaller studs. Dispatch in 25–32 business days, or 5–7 business days for the sizes the page marks as faster.

Questions
What is a martini setting, and how does it differ from a basket?
A martini setting is a tapered, cone-shaped basket — seen from the side it looks like a martini glass — that lets the diamond sit low and close to the earlobe, while a classic basket holds the stone higher on the post. The lower centre of gravity keeps larger stones from tipping forward, which is why the Essentials Martini Studs run from 1.00 to 3.00 ct per pair (weight is always for the pair: 2.00 ct is two 1.00 ct diamonds). For smaller weights or yellow gold, see the Essentials Diamond Studs in a four-prong basket.
Three prongs or four?
A purely visual choice — both hold the diamond securely. Three prongs show more of the stone's round outline and look lighter and more open; four prongs frame the stone symmetrically and read slightly more traditional. Both versions of the Essentials Martini Studs use the same round lab-grown diamonds: F–G colour, VS clarity, Very Good cut.
Which gold, and 14K or 18K?
The gold colours on offer are shown on the page, in 14K (hallmark 585) or 18K (hallmark 750). 14K is harder and the practical everyday choice; 18K contains more gold and costs more, with a minimal visible difference in white. If you prefer yellow gold, the Essentials Diamond Studs in a four-prong basket offer the same diamond quality in yellow or white gold.
Are the diamonds certified?
Yes — every pair of Essentials Martini Studs comes with an IGI jewelry report issued for the finished earrings, not a certificate for each stone. The report states the total carat weight and the quality of the lab-grown diamonds: F–G colour, VS clarity, Very Good cut. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and optically the same as mined diamonds, which is why a 2.00 ct pair costs a fraction of its natural-diamond equivalent.
How long does delivery take?
25–32 business days; 5–7 business days for the sizes the page marks as faster. Every pair is checked in Prague before dispatch; shipping within the EU is insured and tracked.
