Kove Jewelry
FAQ
Are your products in stock?
No, our jewelry is not kept in stock. All pieces are made-to-order. Each item is manufactured specifically for you after you select your preferred configuration and place your order.
How does ordering work?
Browse our catalog, select a model you like, choose your configuration (gold color, stone type, size), add to cart, and complete checkout. You will receive an invoice via email for payment. Production begins after payment confirmation.
Can I choose the gold color and stones?
Yes, absolutely. When you select a product, you can choose from available options including gold color (white, yellow, rose), stone type, and size. This is one of the key advantages of our made-to-order model.
Do you create custom jewelry?
Yes, we create fully custom pieces based on your vision. Contact us at info@kove.jewelry to discuss your ideas and receive a personalized quote.
How long does production take?
Production time varies depending on the specific product and configuration. Typical timeframes are 3-6 weeks. You will be informed of the estimated timeline when placing your order.
How does invoicing and payment work?
Payment is 100% upfront. At checkout you pick one of two methods: • Card payment — Visa, Mastercard and other methods supported by Stripe. After successful payment you receive one confirmation email and the order moves into production / dispatch immediately. Card details never reach our servers; everything is handled by Stripe. • Bank transfer — we send a proforma invoice by email with bank details and a unique payment reference. We have separate CZK and EUR accounts; the right one is picked automatically based on your order currency. Whichever method you choose: • Made-to-order jewelry: production starts once we receive your payment. • Loose stones: your stone is reserved with our supplier and dispatched once payment arrives and availability is confirmed.
Where do you ship?
We ship to addresses within the EU and selected international destinations. Shipping costs and timelines are communicated during checkout.
Can I return made-to-order jewelry?
Since our products are manufactured based on your selected configuration, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (§1837(d) of the Czech Civil Code). However, your rights regarding defective products and warranty claims remain fully protected. On top of that, we offer the **Kove Promise** — 14 days from delivery for Kove store credit or a cash refund minus 20%. See our Return Policy for details.
Can I return the piece?
Under §1837(d) of the Czech Civil Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order goods — our jewelry is produced to your specification (metal, stone, size) and loose stones are reserved with our supplier for your order. On top of that, we offer the **Kove Promise**: if after delivery the piece does not meet your expectations, you have 14 days from the delivery date to choose: • Return the piece for 100% Kove store credit — no expiry, usable any time on any order. • Or return the piece for a cash refund minus 20% (the deduction covers gold melt-loss on refining, atelier labour, payment-processing fees, and return shipping). You also have a 48-hour spec-change window before production starts, at no charge. The piece must be in the condition it was delivered, with the IGI/GIA certificate and its original packaging. Start a return by emailing orders@kove.jewelry. Your statutory rights regarding defective goods remain fully protected — details in our Return Policy.
What if I receive a defective product?
If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, contact us immediately at info@kove.jewelry. We will assess the situation and provide an appropriate solution.

How do I find a specific diamond — by ID, certificate number, carat, or millimeter size?
Type a stock ID (for example E67269CA9) or certificate number (for example LG768664912) into the search bar at the top of the site to jump directly to that stone. To browse, open the Natural or Lab-Grown listing and use the filter panel: by carat range for general browsing, or switch to "Search by size (mm)" if you are replacing a stone in a setting and need an exact dimension. The mm search runs a tolerance cascade — ±0.10 / 0.15 / 0.20 mm — so you always get the closest available match. A full guide is at /guides/stone-search-help.
Can I search for a diamond by exact millimeter size?
Yes. On the Natural or Lab-Grown listing, pick a single shape (Round, Oval, Cushion, etc.) and the filter panel shows a "Search by size (mm)" section with the real sizes we currently stock — round goes from 4.25 mm up to 13 mm in 0.25 mm steps, oval shows length×width pairs like 7×5 and 8×6. Tap any chip to add it to your search; tap again to remove. The system finds stones within ±0.10 mm first, then expands tolerance to ±0.15 and ±0.20 mm if needed. Cushion includes its modified and brilliant variants automatically. You can also type "5 mm" or "7x5" directly into the search bar at the top of the site. See /guides/stone-search-help for examples.
